What are photoceramics ?

When the life of beloved people ends, we feel the need to preserve in our memories images of those who have passed away. The pain for the loss of our beloved ones and the desire for immortality have always belonged to the human soul. Since antiquity, people used to create pictorial representations of beloved deads, such as statues, Fayum portraits, frescoes, ivory miniatures and oil paintings, in order to capture and preserve forever their images.

Photography, which came into public use at the middle of 18th century, enabled the best possible pictorial representation of a person. Photo ceramics are products of the modern technology which enable the creation of excellent images that also stand the test of time.

Our Offered Services

It is surprising how an ordinary photograph can be transformed to reflect dignity, character or that unique air that makes your loved one special to you.

• Coloured photo-porcelain images can be produced also from black and white photos and vice versa.
• People or objects may be removed or added to photo ceramic images. Furthermore, we can merge 2 individual photographs into a couple portrait.
• It is possible to replace a less than satisfactory background from your photograph, with professional looking backgrounds such as studio backdrop or a beautiful landscape.
• Clothing styles may be also altered. We can provide a wide range of formal suites and dresses or even casual wear to create the dignified look in a natural way.

Please note the following regardiing the submission of photographs

• We accept mainly coloured and black & white photographs or digital images at 300 dpi, tiff (in RGB colour space) or jpeg files.
• There is no need to cut or fold your original photograph, but make sure we have clear instructions.
• The original photo is returned
